      Day 03 : Mumbai – Cochin : By Flight
      After breakfast assistance and transfer to airport to board flight to Cochin by 9W-401 Dep 1035/ 1220 Hrs. On arrival assistance and transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing of Cochin, The colonial influence of Cochin becomes evident when you visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in 1567, housing the Grand Scrolls of the Old Testament and the Dutch Palace, with its 17th century murals of the Ramayana. Evening attend a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance of Kerala. Overnight stay.

      Day 04 : Cochin – Munnar

    • Karnataka, a region that has it all except the snow. This two-week tour explores a few of the most fascinating destinations in Karnataka. We start at Hyderabad and drive down to Bidar, Gulbarga and Bijapur, all having been ruled under the Muslim reign. The monuments at these places speak of volumes of this splendid symmetrical architecture and fine inlay work. We then move to the next stage of Hindu architecture. Both Pattadakal and Hampi declared World Heritage Sites, portray the rich heritage of the place. From here we travel to the greener pastures of Chikmagalur, Coorg and Nagarhole National Park. We end this journey through Mysore, the second biggest city of the state and completing at Bangalore, the IT hub of the new India.

      Day 01 : Arrive Hyderabad
      Traditional welcome on arrival at Hyderabad international airport by our representative  to transfer to hotel for immediate check-in.

      Day 02 : Hyderabad
      Enjoy the lavish breakfast. Morning visit the Falukuma Palace, Mecca Masjid, the Salar Jung Museum and the splendid Charminar. In the afternoon drive to the fortress of Golconda and the tombs of the Qutab Shahi kings. Enjoy the Nawabi dinner with scrumptious meals and cuisines. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 03 : Hyderabad – Bidar – Gulbarga (136 kms / 2.5 hrs and 110 kms / 2 hrs)
      After beakfast drive to Gulbarga, enroute stopover at Bidar to visit the 15th century Bidar Fort and the Bahmani tombs. Arrive Gulbarga, in the afternoon to check in hotel for wash-n-change. Later visit the remarkable 15th century Jama Masjid. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 04 :Gulbarga – Bijapur (160 kms / 3 hrs)
      After an early breakfast, drive to Bijapur. Check into the hotel followed by a full day guided tour of Bijapur. Mohammad Adil Shah built Bijapur during the 17th century. Visit the Gol Gumbaz or the round dome. This structure has the largest dome unsupported by pillars to be found in India and the second largest in the world. Later visit Ibrahim Roza, a beautiful tomb built by Adil Shah II for his queen. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 05 : Bijapur – Badami (130 kms / 2.5 hrs)
      Breakfast at hotel. Leaving behind the world of Islam we drive to the early 6th century temples of Badami and Pattadakal. On arrival check in hotel. Later, a guided visit of Badamai to the rock cut caves, the Mahakuteshwara Temple and the Northern Fort. In early evening, drive to Pattadakal, a World Heritage Site. Pattadakal reached its pinnacle under the Chalukya kings. Visit the cluster of 10 major temples, each displaying interesting architectural features. Return to Badami. Overnight at Badami.

      Day 06 : Badami – Hampi (140 kms / 3 hrs)
      After breakfast drive to Hampi, enroute stopover at Aihole, a tranquil village on the banks of the Malaprabha River. There are hundreds of temples in the villages and fields nearby. We visit the Durga Temple, the Lad Khan Temple, Ravalphadi Cave Temple and the Buddhist Temple. On arrival at Hampi, check in hotel. Evening free to explore this 14th century sleepy town set amidst an awesome boulder strewn landscape along the banks of the Tungabhadra river. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 07 : Hampi
      Breakfast followed by a full day guided tour visiting the three main complexes, the Virupaksha temple, The Vittala Temple and the King’s Palace. Evening free to stroll among the ruins of Hampi, which are extensive and fascinating, and one is sure to discover something new at every bend along the road. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 08 : Hampi – Chitradurga (155 kms / 3 hrs)
      Breakfast at hotel. Morning free on own. Afternoon drive to Chitradurga. On arrival, check in hotel for wash ‘n’ change. Later visit Kallina Kote Fort (Palace of Stone), a marvel of military architecture made impregnable by the Nayak Palegars. Encircled by seven massive walls, the fort has 19 gateways, 38 posterior entrances, four of which are secret, granaries, oil pits, water tanks, a palace and a mosque. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 09 : Chitradurga – Chikmagalur (200 kms / 4 hrs)
      Breakfast then drive to Chikmagalur, a calm, serene town full of scenic surprises: hills, valleys, streams and the aroma of coffee wafting in the misty air. This famous coffee town, is located at a height of over 1900 metres in a luxuriant valley south of the Baba Bundangiri range and is a trekker’s paradise. On arrival check in hotel. Early evening excursion to Belur (35 kms) to visit the famed Chennakeshava temple built in 12th century AD to celebrate Hoysala military victories and took over a hundred years to complete. Return to Chikmagalur by evening and enjoy the Nawabi style dinner retreat. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 10 : Chikmagalur – Malpe (250 kms / 5 hrs)
      After breakfast drive to Malpe, a beach resort. Enroute stopover at Halebid the ancient capital of the Hoysalas. Visit the Hoysaleswara temple perched on a star-shaped base. Its walls are richly carved with an endless variety of Hindu deities, sages, stylised animals, birds, and friezes depicting the life of the Hoysala kings. Drive to Malpe, on arrival check into a beach resort. Overnight at resort.

      Day 11 : Malpe – Coorg (250 kms / 5 hrs)
      After breakfast, spend the morning on the beach. Afternoon drive to Coorg (Kodagu), is an enchanting expanse of natural tourist spot that nestles amid the hills and valleys of the picturesque Western Ghats. Evening free for leisurely walks. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 12 : Coorg – Nagarhole (100 kms / 2 hrs)
      After breakfast, drive to the Nagarhole National Park. On arrival check into a jungle resort. Nagarhole (Snake River) has an astonishing abundance of wildlife, especially the Asiatic elephant. Take a jeep safari into the jungle. The backdrop of the distant misty blue Brahmagiri Mountains, the natural sounds of the jungle, the gurgling of streams and rivers, and the twittering of the birds make Nagarhole a memorable experience. Overnight at resort.

      Day 13 : Nagarhole – Mysore (95 kms / 2 hrs)
      After breakfast, drive to Mysore, the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyar Kings. On arrival check into hotel followed by a guided tour of Mysore city covering the Mysore Palace, St Philomena’s Chruch, the Rail Museum and the Folklore museum. In the evening visit Brindavan Gardens famous for its dancing fountains. Overnight at the hotel.

      Day 14 : Mysore – Sharavanbelagola – Bangalore (85 kms-1.5 hrs / 145 kms-3 hrs)
      After breakfast drive to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. Enroute stopover at Sharavanbelagola, a Jain pilgrimage site. Visit the world’s tallest monolith statute of Lord Bahubali (Gommateshwara) located atop the Indragiri. Just opposite is the smaller Chandragiri hill where some Jain temples and tomb of Chandra Gupta Maurya, famous patron of Jainism can be seen. Drive onto Bangalore. On arrival check into a hotel. Evening free. Overnight at hotel.

      Day 15 : Bangalore – onward destination
      Scrumptious breakfast at hotel. Later, Transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.

    • DAY 01 : BANGALORE
      Arrive Bangalore by International flight directly or ex Delhi or Bombay. On arrival meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. Bangalore the capital of Karnataka is often described as Asia's Silicon Valley because of its thriving information technology. Until its high-tech boom began in the late 1980"s, it was known as the Garden City. You will be exploring the city with your local guide in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

      DAY 02 : BANGALORE - MYSORE
      This morning your chauffer will report to your hotel to take you to the palace city of Mysore, This three-hour drive is very scenic and on way you will be visiting Tipu Sultan's capital at Srirangapatna. Check in at hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace (New Wing). Rest of the day spend exploring the other places of interest such as Maharaja's Palace - a giant Indo-Saracen wedding cake of a building- the colourful vegetable and flower markets, and Chamundi Hill noted for its Nandi Temple.

      DAY 03 : MYSORE - NAGARHOLE NATIONAL PARK
      90 kilometers from Mysore lay Nagarhole National Park, which claims populations of Tiger, leopard and elephant as well as over 250 species of birds. Visit the park by jeep, on elephant back and in a coracle. Stay two nights at Kabini River Lodge or at Water Woods a small six bedroom bungalow, beautifully appointed, and situated on the banks of the Kabini River.
      (As an alternative to Nagarhole National Park, anglers may wish to consider staying at the Cauvery Fishing Camp on the banks of the Cauvery River at Bheemashwari which is noted for its MAHSEER fishing (best season November to June). The mahseer is considered to be one of the finest game fish in the world. In the mid 80's we organized the International Mahseer Fishing competition, which was attended by some of the world's top anglers, and the title was won by Mr. Bob Howitt form Liechtenstein, Switzerland, who fished 110 pounder mahseer, which was, of course, released in the river after weighing and pictured. ) Accommodation is in spacious, well-furnished "ethnic log-huts". The Cauvery Fishing Camp is situated 100 kms from Bangalore and 85 kms from Mysore.
      Day 04 : Nagarhole Park
      A day to explore Nagarhole, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing. Profusion of rivers and swampy grasslands keep it green all year. Established in 1983 the park has 645 sq. kms area, full of wildlife. Stay Overnight.

      Day 05 : Nagarhole - Coonoor
      Morning drive to Coonoor via Ooty, a famous hill station in the Nilgiri Hills. Coonoor is just 13 kms from Ooty and offers a relaxing alternative to this bustling town. Exploring the Blue Mountains: visit a tea estate, take in the lovely views from the "Dolphine's Nose", and see the botanical gardens in Ooty and Coonoor. Stay night at the Hotel in Coonoor.

      Day 06: Coonoor To Cochin
      Drive south to the Malabar Coast and to Cochin. Over the centuries the Portuguese, Dutch and British have all influenced this fascinating city. Stay at the B Hotel overlooking the sea in Fort Cochin.

      Please note that you may wish to consider breaking your journey from Coonoor to Cochin at KOLONGODE PALACE, in the foothills of the Western Ghats, almost the epicentre of the Palghat Pass that permitted free flow of trade and culture, since time immemorial. In these environs, is the Palace and estate of the Maharaja of Kolongode.

      Kolongode, and ideal place for exploring body and soul to revitalize and renew - be it through the magic of Ayurveda, the salubrious climate throughout the year.       Day 07 : Cochin
      This morning visit the synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis' Church and the spice market. In the afternoon take a harbour cruise to see some of the nearby islands and the legendary Chinese fishing nets. Overnight at the Hotel.

      Day 08 : Cochin - Munnar
      Leave today for a scenic drive through the hills to Munnar, at 1520 metres above sea level, in the high ranges of Kerala. Munnar is a genuine hill station and center of the Kerala tea industry. It is also close to Anaimudi, at 2695 metres the highest peak in South India. In the town Christ Church with its memorial plaques to past planters is worth visiting. Stay Overnight.

      Day 09: Munnar
      Full day exploring Munnar and the surrounding area of Eravikulam National Park. Stay Overnight.

      DAY 10 : Cochin To Periyar
      After breakfast drive along the coast to Alleppey and cruise by motor boat across Vembanad Lake to Changancherry. Continue on by car to Lake Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in the Cardamom Hills. Stay at Spice Village or Taj Garden Retreat.

      DAY 11 : Periyar
      Early morning and afternoon wildlife viewing by boat; alternatively, take a trek through the forest with a local guide/naturalist. Overnight Stay at Periyar.

      DAY 12 : Periyar To Madurai
      Today head to Madurai, a vibrant pilgrimage city centered on the great Meenakshi Temple. In the afternoon visit the bustling temple. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

      DAY 13: Madurai To Chennai (Madras)  By air
      Leave for Chennai by air. Arrive Madras. Met upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. After lunch and relaxation, set out to enjoy the seventh century town, this has a vast beach line. On a sightseeing tour, marvel at the one-made sculptures, caves, chariots and temples of the Pallava period.

      Visit Arjuna's Penance - the largest bas-relief in the world. Come back to your hotel for a refreshing dinner. Overnight at your hotel.

      DAY 14: Chennai  Departure
      Enjoy your day relaxing at the Hotel. Later in the evening you will be taken to the airport for your onward flight back home.
